When its picking time the sign will be out on highway 38.
Just drive on down the driveway and start picking! Everything you need and instructions are all there.
We work on the honor system, just drop payment into the black mailbox
My Lavender Story......
One summer as I looked over my lavender patch I thought "What am I going to do with all of this?"
So, I posted a sign out on Highway 38 that said
U-PICK LAVENDER $5 / Bundle
And people stopped to pick lavender. Lots of people stopped!
I have enjoyed visiting with people and hearing stories about how they remember picking apples,
pears and other fruit with their mothers or grandmothers and paying with the honor system.
Folks have brought their grandchildren to pick and told them about how they u-picked as children.
We open when the Lavender begins to bloom (June) and stay open as long as the season permits.
